Free Equipment Sets for First Year Players

FREE EQUIPMENT SETS FOR FIRST YEAR PLAYERS (ages 4 - 7): FLHA has teamed up with Total Hockey's 'First Stride' program to offer NEW starter equipment sets (stick and jersey included) to new skaters in our program. There are designated 'fitting dates' at Total Hockey's Maplewood store and a 'New Player Skate' on Oct 3rd. All the details are contained in the attached PDF document.
PLEASE REGISTER WITH FIRST STRIDE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
Because we have no guarantees of unlimited equipment availability, we would encourage you to REGISTER with First Stride as soon as possible to reserve your equipment set. Here is a link to the site:

Click on 'Player Sign-Up' in the top right corner and then scroll down to the Forest Lake program and then click on 'Register'. Please note that your skater is not required to be at least 5 yrs old and Total Hockey has already confirmed that they will fit equipment for 4 yr olds in the smallest sizes available.
Once you've registered with FirstStride, we encourage you to sign your child up for INTRO TO HOCKEY right away if you haven't already. You are only allowed to keep the FirstStride equipment if your child is signed up for our 'Learn to Play (LTP)' program which is INTRO TO HOCKEY.
