Squirt B2 Gold took home 2nd place Sunday afternoon in the SuperRink Spectacular.

Squirt B2 Gold started the weekend with a 5-1 win over Elk River Red. They followed that up with and early-morning victory over STMA 5-1 and closed out the day with 3-1 win over White Bear Lake.

The championship game saw them facing Forest Lake B2 Maroon.  In a spectacular game that filled the stands with Forest Lake friends and family they played a spectacular game that at the end of 3 periods was tied 5-5.  Two overtimes weren't enough to settle it and the score remained tied.  They were able to take Maroon to to the 5 shootout round but ultimately fell 6-5 and went home with the second place trophy.
