Squirt B2 Maroon took the top spot in the SuperRink Spectacular on Sunday.

Squirt B2 Maroon shut out home team Mounds View Irondale Green on Friday 4-0. The first game on Saturday found them in a hard-fought tie 2-2 with Cambridge/Isanti. The finished Saturday with a rout of Mahtomedi 10-1.

In a game that will leave many Forest Lake parents, friends and family hoarse, they faced Forest Lake Squirt B2 Gold for the championship.  B2 Gold fought hard and after 3 periods the score was tied 5-5.  Two overtime periods weren't enough to resolve the match.  After 5 rounds of shootouts, Squirt B2 Maroon was able to come out on top with a final score of 6-5.
