Sponsorship

Sponsorship allows local businesses to show their support of the FLHA. In turn sponsors are recognized in a number of ways throughout the year in our community.

For more information on how to become a team or tournament sponsor, or to submit a sponsorship request, please read and/or fill out the sponsorship letter and drop it in the mail. A list of current sponsors is below. Please be sure to frequent these businesses and thank them for their support.

Website Logo Requirements

For sponsorship logo, please provide logos in the following file types: JPG, GIF or PNG. Uploaded images must have a width greater than 150 pixels (height doesn't matter) and have a color space of RGB (not CMYK). Please email the logo and company url to the website administrator and indicate team company is sponsoring.

How is team sponsorship money allocated?
Money provided by team sponsors is allocated to the designated team. Of the sponsorship, $100 is allocated to the Hockey Association’s general fund for expenses such as FLHA provided equipment (FLHA goalie equipment, water bottles, pucks, and first aid kits), Mite level ice bills and a portion of the team jerseys and socks bills are paid.

Can I request that my sponsorship money benefits only one team, rather than going to the general fund?
Sponsors may request to have their business name displayed on the back of a specific team’s jersey. (First come, first served). To receive the benefits of a tax deduction form from FLHA, and other associated sponsorship benefits, the funds received must at least in part benefit the entire association. Private donations (which can be entirely team specific) are appreciated and encouraged, but are not considered FLHA sponsorships.
