We have dryland for our teams to use throughout the season. Dryland practice provides a great opportunity to work on shooting, stick handling, passing, agility & conditioning. It is recommended that all teams use the dryland facility as much as possible. Below are some additional details on our two options.
The dryland facility at the Forest Lake Sports Center is designed for use in conditioning and plyometrics training. It is recommended to be used by Peewee/12U teams and older.
There currently is no reservation of the dryland area.
Attached is puck handling/control patterns that should be repetitively practiced to obtain maximum puck handling skills. The purpose of the Octa-VCF stick handling system is to provide coaches and players a practical, easy to follow training aid to enhance player stick handling skills.
