FLHA Overview
Welcome to Forest Lake Hockey Association!
Hockey runs deep in Forest Lake, and FLHA is where passion meets purpose. Our Rangers community is more than just a hockey program - we're a tight-knit family of over 600 players, dedicated coaches, and volunteer families who believe in the power of teamwork both on and off the ice.
The FLHA program is open to youth in the Forest Lake School District. Our comprehensive program starts with our youngest players and progresses through high school levels. From youngest to oldest, our program consists of:
- Jr Rangers
- Mini Mites
- 8U
- Mite 1, 2, 3, 4 / 10U
- Squirts / 12U
- PeeWees / 15U
- Bantams / 18U
- Junior Rangers
- Junior Gold
In a typical year over 600 players participate in the FLHA program across 37 teams, with 146 coaches and assistants, 61 team managers, and countless volunteers who contribute. We have a strong community of involved and passionate families who work hard to ensure a successful program.
FLHA is in District 2 under the Minnesota Hockey umbrella. We are proud members of this competitive district and regularly host 6 tournaments throughout the season, welcoming teams from across the region to our facilities.
Our Mission
To promote athletic performance in hockey and teach life lessons to the youth of the Forest Lake School District in a competitive, fun and safe environment which cultivates pride and a winning culture.
