FLake Jam

Our Flake Jam offers a unique and fun experience for upper-level mites/8U players. This USA Hockey sanctioned tournament is a pool to bracket play with referees and scorekeeping. In addition, all games are half ice. A fun experience for all!
Levels
- Mite 4 and 8U 4
- Mite 3
NOTE: There will be separate divisions for mites (boys) and 8U (girls), so please make sure you register for the correct division.
When
December 5-7, 2025
NOTE: Games may start as early as 5:00 PM Friday. Games should be done around 7:00 PM on Sunday.

All games will be played at Forest Lake Sports Center.

Tournament rules
Tournament format
Mite 3/B:
- 4 game minimum & possibility for a 5th game for the top 4 teams
- Pool play will be followed by seeding to tournament brackets based on wins/losses
- Informal ‘championship’ game and 3rd place game for all 24 teams
Mite 4/A:
- 5 games for all teams.
- Pool play will be followed by seeding to tournament brackets based on wins/losses.
- Informal ‘championship’ game and 3rd place game for all 16 teams.
8U Level 4/A:
- 4 game minimum & possibility for a 5th game if we get enough teams registered.
- Pool play will be followed by seeding to tournament brackets based on wins/losses.
- Informal ‘championship’ game and 3rd place game for all teams.
