Mini-Mites
Mini-Mites hockey is all about fun, friends, and first strides on the ice. Designed for players aged 5 and under, this level introduces the basics of skating and hockey through games, laughter, and lots of encouragement. It’s the perfect way to spark a lifelong love for the sport in a safe and supportive setting.

- There are no late fees for registering after the season starts but all players must be registered prior to December 31st per USA Hockey rules.
Birth Certificate (New Players Only)
New players to Forest Lake Hockey Association will need to submit a photocopy of their Birth Certificate to the Secretary in order to participate in their team's first ice session. Please reach out to the Secretary if you have any questions.
Player Waivers
Players that live OUTSIDE the official Forest Lake School District boundaries must complete a waiver form and submit it to FLHA before participating in any Forest Lake Hockey Association activities. This will need to be completed each year unless a permanent waiver is on file.
Player Evaluations
- All players that register for Mini-Mites will be evaluated at the beginning of the season to insure they are in the proper skill level.
- There is no evaluation fee for Mini-Mites
Practices
Practices can take place at any of the following rinks:
- Forest Lake Sports Center - Hallberg North (Primary)
- Forest Lake Sports Center - Hallberg South (Primary)
- National Sports Center Super Rink - Rinks 1 - 8 (Secondary)
Games / Jamborees
- Teams at this level are prohibited from playing games with other associations.
- Each team will participate in the Forest Lake sponsored Spring Jam at the end of the season.
Extra Team Costs
There will be no additional costs required as the player registration covers all costs.
Extra Player Costs
In addition to the extra team costs listed, the registration fee does not cover the items below:
- Fall Clinic
- Specialty Individually Registered Program Fees
- Volunteer Hours Program Fees
Jerseys
Players are given matching team jerseys & socks by FLHA at the start of the season.
Volunteer Hours Program
Families of Mini-Mite players WILL be required to participate in the Volunteer Hours Program. More details on the program can be found on the Volunteer Hours Program page.
2025-2026 Season

Refunds will be issued per the refund policy as outlined in FLHA rules. In addition to the FLHA refund policy, Crossbar assesses the following NONREFUNDABLE processing fees on all transactions: 4% plus $.99 for each credit card transactions, 2% plus $.99 for each electronic checks.
