• A Team tryouts take place prior to regular tryouts in late September.
• Participation in the Top Team Tryouts is an additional $95 over the regular tryouts cost of $125 to cover the cost of ice and evaluators.
• Goalie tryouts for the Top Team is by invitation only after completion of the goalie skills night and the goalie Top Team Tryout fee is $0.
• Not all levels will have an Top Team tryout prior to the regular tryout. There must be a minimum of 3 teams at the level.
• There will be 3 sessions for the Top Team Tryouts and at the end of the 2nd & 3rd session the bottom players will be cut from the Top Team tryouts.
• Players that are not cut after the 3rd session will have earned a spot in the A Pool
• Players that are cut after the 2nd or 3rd session will automatically be scheduled to participate in the regular tryouts.
• The A pool will continue forward with the traditional process of the A Pool practice and game per the tryout policies and procedures.
• Players who make the A-Pool will ultimately be rostered on either the top team or the next highest team. (Examples: A and B1 or AA and A)

• Tryouts will consist of the battle night/3v3, & 5v5 as outlined in the tryouts policies and procedures.
• Regular tryout fee is $125/person.
• Goalie tryouts fee is $0/person
• Players that attended the Top Team Tryout but were cut, will start over as every other player and all previous scores will be erased.
• Players that elect to not tryout will be placed on the bottom team at their level

• Every player receives the same amounts of shifts during each session
• Every player is evaluated every shift
• Each evaluator watches only 2 kids per shift
• Every evaluator will evaluate your player multiple times per session
• Player will play every position multiple times per session

Players will be evaluated on the following criteria

• Hockey sense
• Playmaking
• Shooting/scoring
• Compete and Character
• Defending
