Spring League
This program is a great way to keep your skater progressing and maintain the momentum from the winter season!
Ages
Mites/8U
- For skaters ages 4 - 7
- 1 to 3 years of hockey experience (i.e. Jr Rangers, Mini-Mites, & Mite or 8U level 1 & 2, etc.)
- Grades PreK to 2nd
Squirts/10U
- For skaters ages 8 - 11
- Grades 3rd to 5th

4v4 Mite/8U Levels:
Beginner Mite
Intermediate Mite
8U Girls Intermediate
Advanced Mite
*8U Girls will be a beginner/intermediate combined level for 4 teams of girls only

Sessions
- Weekly sessions are scheduled for either Tuesday & Thursday evenings or Monday & Wednesday evenings.
- Sessions will consist of 10 minutes of skating & skill practice followed by 50 minutes of half-ice 4 on 4 games
- Gameplay may be adjusted to 3v3 at the discretion of the coaches if needed for the advanced mites or squirt/10u levels
- Gameplay may be adjusted to 5v5 at the discretion of the coaches for beginner levels to give more ice time or balance play

Mites/8U
- FLHA Player - $150
- CLHA Girls - $150
- Non-FLHA Player - $250
Squirts/10U
- FLHA Player - $200
- CLHA Girls - $200
- Non-FLHA Player - $300 (Non-FLHA squirt/10u is not open yet)
Coach Reimbursement
Mite/8U Head Coaches will receive $100 off registration as reimbursement
Mite/8U Asst Coaches will receive $50 off registration as reimbursement
Squirt/10U Head Coaches will receive full registration cost reimbursement up to $200 per team
Squirt/10/U Asst. Coaches will receive up to 1/2 off registration cost reimbursement up to $100 per team
4v4 Program Details
MItes/8U
- Players will be broken into teams based on skill level (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced)
- Girls have the option of playing in the new for 2026 8U-Girls session
- Your session time may change depending on the level your player is assigned
- Each team will be given a different color jersey with numbers.
Squirts/10U
- Players will be broken into 8 teams
- Each team will be given a different color jersey with numbers.
- Team sizes will be small to encourage significant ice time
- Players may be asked to play or rotate as goalie during the season as needed
Schedule
The schedule will be posted to the Spring League Teams pages once available.
Your players schedule will be set once teams are finalized after the first day. Your player may be placed on a different team than initially assigned to match their ability or to balance gameplay. You will have the same ice time each M/W or T/Th each week unless otherwise noted on the schedule
Mite/8U 4v4 Level Schedule
Beginner - Mon/Wed - 5:15-6:15 - North Rink
Intermediate - Mon/Wed - 6:15-7:15 - North Rink
Advanced - Mon/Wed - 6:30-7:30 - South Rink
8U Girls Intermediate - Tues/Thurs - 5:15-6:15 - North Rink
*Wednesday March 25th North Rink sessions will be played on Friday March 27th
Squirt/10U 4v4 Schedule
Tues / Thurs - 6:15-7:15 - North Rink
Tues / Thurs - 6:30 - 7:30 - South Rink
*Squirt/10U will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays but will vary between either 6:15 or 6:30 start times depending on whether you are assigned to the South or North Rink for that days game

Refunds will not be issued once the Clinic has started. In addition to the FLHA refund policy, Crossbar assesses the following NONREFUNDABLE processing fees on all transactions: 4% plus $.99 for each credit card transactions, 2% plus $.99 for each electronic checks.
