Alixandrea Becker #97
Alix always finds a way to make it work! This second year co-captain has blossomed in her leadership role. She’s worked hard this season to set the tone of positive play, starting with warmups. Alix can be counted on to make sure the team is ready to rock, thoroughly stretched out and pumped up. She’ll find the right spot at any venue to bring the girls together. She’s empathetic and collaborative, noticing the boost a teammate might need is just to sit with them. Alix is a selfless teammate, playing heads up hockey for the smart play. She knows that anyone making the right play makes everyone look good. And she truly cares about everyone. Alix understands that this high-adrenaline sport brings up big feels across the spectrum. She’s dialed into the silly celebrations as well as the quiet moments to get everyone on the same page. Alix has contributed to everyone’s personal growth this season. She folds wisdom and consideration into her enjoyment of recognizing others. Alix’s 12U team will surely be stronger for her ability to keep morale high.

Avery Collette #43
Avery is a true team builder. She’s the first to check in with an injured player, helping them onto their feet and back to the bench if needed. Avery was quick to showcase her experience as a second year player. This influential co-captain set herself to the task of reducing off-sides calls. This is one of the biggest adjustments new 10U players make in their first season. Avery kept the team very aware of the blue line from both sides. She also works tirelessly with teammates to keep the puck in the offensive zone in the face of formidable opponents. Her courage is contagious. Avery has a way of giving it her all every period and she cheers the team to do the same. The increased confidence across the entire roster is thanks in no small part to her never-give-up attitude. If you’ve noticed an upswing in momentum when we’re trailing on the scoreboard, you’ve seen Avery’s magic at work. The whole team knows that she has their back, helping set up a play or staying positive. Always ready with a shot of hope and determination, Avery will be a great asset to her 12U team next season.

Vivian Haley #29
Vivian is a great, total package athlete. Her vision for this season didn’t start quite like she’d hoped. After try-outs she found herself on B1, away from her closest hockey friends. She quickly pivoted, leaning into the unexpected opportunity to play a leadership role as co-captain. Vivian went straight to work, providing an example of focus, sharpening her dedication to skill development. She discovered the reward that is guiding a team effort to improve, to dig deeper, and to persevere together. She can be relied upon to communicate across the ice and push the puck to the teammate best situated to make the play. She takes the time to point out nuances in opponents’ play techniques so Rangers can turn the tide. Vivian has the whole picture in mind whether she’s on the ice, on the bench, or chatting with the team. Her fifth grade teacher has also taken notice of her influence in the classroom, even suggesting Vivian become involved with the student council. Keep an eye out for Vivian next year in 12U. She’s found the satisfaction of service suits her.

Saylor Lyckholm #92
Saylor has hockey deep in her heart. She has a can-do attitude that drives her to go the extra mile. Saylor can be counted on to fight for possession on either end of the ice. She's able to keep playing the puck during a knee spin, popping right back up to clear it out of our zone. Saylor is rock steady under pressure, turning up the heat on every opponent. It’s immense fun to watch her applying pressure on the boards, pushing a charge to the corner and especially snagging a loose puck. This sly fox works to make every puck a Ranger puck! Saylor is a great teammate who offers knuckle bump celebrations and kind words of encouragement. It’s impossible to feel down for long when she’s around for a bright smile and a warm hug.

Sage Levi #86
Sage’s passion heats up every game, and has forced some very exciting turnovers. She brings an intensity that’s hard to match. Her defensive maneuvering has grown with her strength through the season. After logging a few shifts in the penalty box early on, she has refined the art of lifting opponents’ sticks and cleaning house. Sage appears fearless in her willingness to take on anyone for her team. It’s no surprise her favorite animal is a dog; loyalty to the team keeps her focused on the job at hand. She’ll throw herself in front of a skater to neutralize a breakaway and keep the riff-raff out of the goalie crease on a frozen puck. Sage’s intensity doesn’t wane off the ice. She makes every encounter a good time, singing the team’s favorite hits to get everyone pumped up.

Autumn Kubes #82
While Autumn is slightly subdued in the locker room, she lets her game speak volumes. She’s a fantastic position player, always fighting to get to the right spot at the right time. Autumn has no qualms about pressuring an attacker out of range to the corner. She’s quick to snag the puck and she keeps her head up. Autumn can make the split-second call whether she can execute a smart pass or skate through the melee to create the conditions that best suit her team. Sure-footed as a snow leopard with cat-like reflexes, count on her to adjust to the play. Autumn is a teammate anyone would be happy to have; she always has words of encouragement and a knack for knowing what lifts everyone’s spirits.

Lucille Lhotka #72
Lucy is thoroughly enjoying her very first year of hockey, and you’d never know she’s a rookie. She brings solid edge work and puck handling to every shift. Lucy has an unparalleled desire to turn every play to our advantage. She’s a fierce defender, battling for possession behind the net or stopping a breakaway in its tracks. Lucy is fierce on the ice, and that’s no surprise since she’s all heart. Just like a lion she’s tight with her pride, staying connected in online chats and games (when she’s not geeking out over live barn). Just watch out when you hear her roar!

Mila Krier #44
Mila is our Ranger in the crease. She’s making the most of her first season as a full-time goalie. She might ask the team to make the game “as boring for her as possible,” but you won’t catch her asleep when facing down a breakaway or shootout. Mila is building her brick wall one shot at a time, fearing none and asking for more. She understands her unique perspective allows her to read the game as it flows up and down the ice; she’s happy to share her observations with the team and coaches. She especially appreciates how everyone works hard to make her game uneventful, even when it’s anything but dull out there.

Emersyn Johnson #26
Emmy rocks both ends of the ice! She has a particular talent for being in the right place at the right time. Perhaps a chameleon of sorts, Emmy seems to suddenly appear with the puck from a log jam on the boards. She plays with her head on a swivel, ready to do whatever it takes, regaining possession one moment then clearing our zone the next. Emmy is full of energy and has a silly streak a mile wide. Spend some time with her and you’ll understand why the word ‘crafty’ has more than one meaning. Emmy’s creative in an artsy way, and then there’s that sly smile…

Aria Hardtke #24
Aria is the kind of player you’ll see everywhere on the ice. As she works in various positions she demonstrates hockey smarts and sound decision making. Aria is indispensable to clear the puck out of our zone when she’s playing defense. Then, she shows her chops on offense, pressing our advantage on a rebound with an assist or dumping it in herself. One of the nicest teammates you’ll ever have, Aria finds common-ground with everyone. Consider yourself fortunate if she’s introduced you to Rainbow Ranger the Lucky Ducky.

Naomi Stenglein #20
Naomi dares you to keep up with her when she’s moving the puck down the ice. She’s fearless about gaining possession and moving with it. Naomi carries the puck so smoothly that it looks effortless when she finds the back of the net. Don’t be fooled, though. She’s always ready to go to work and she won’t stop honing those skills. Naomi is a reliable bright spot who loves to keep the team positive with her fabulous dance moves and silly sense of humor.

Max gets low and moves fast. Max is a smart read, and she is so good at getting to the tough spots. Her Hockey IQ is high, and her hustle is hardcore. She is tenacious on the puck and always supports her teammates. Max's focus is clear, and her determination is contagious. Watch out if she’s had a Bubbl’r!
